through leadership, proclamation, evangelism, education, missions, and fellowship, to love our neighbors and to serve our community through special
projects and events.
The Gulfview United Methodist Church family comes from throughout the United States and provinces of Canada. Each new day, God uses Gulfview to touch

Gulfview UMC was formed in May, 1955; however, the actual church building (our current sanctuary) was not finished until 1956. On Sunday, February 12, 1956,
the first worship service was held in the new church building.
The Cornerstone was laid in November 1956 and was celebrated with a dinner for members. The meal was served by the Methodist Women, who were
well known for their cooking skills. The dedication of the church and a mortgage burning was celebrated in 1962.
Gulfview UMC is a unique church. The congregation comes from all over the United States, Canada, and visitors come from all over the world – all here to worship together. Our doors are always open to everyone to join in our ministry for the Lord.
